Obama phone Zardari, Discusses US policy review on Afganistan

obama__image6                                     ISLAMABAD -The US President Barack Obamacalled President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday night and apprised him about the salient features of the just concluded US policy review on Afghanistan. Both the leaders also discussed the situation in the region.
President Obama thanked President Asif Ali Zardari for his condolences and warm tributes over the death of Richard Holbrooke, Special US Envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan.President Asif Ali Zardari thanked President Obama for apprising him of the substantive elements of the US policy review. The two Presidents also agreed to have a face-to-face meeting soon
Once again Pakistan will follow the US dictations as the US want to pressurize Pakistan to launch a military operation in North Waziristan Agency.Despite.Pakistan had done more for US in the form of launching operation in different tribal areas including the beautiful valley of swat. But still there demands not came to an   end.The promise coalition fund of $2 billion has not been released yet which proves the dual policy of US toward Pakistan.
So it is the right time for Pakistani  democratic government and military junta to think about think their own national interests and not follow US dictations.
And it is obvious that Operation in North Waziristan will not be the final demand of US.
We all the pakhtuns strongly condemn the US polices and all those Pakistani politician who follows the US dictations.

  1. I think there is nothing new in this US policy review, what has been revealed was set already and known to the world. In March 2009, President Obama had announced that US will start pulling her troops out of Afghanistan and same has been told in the recent Review. I think the time is near that we will be out of this worse quagmire, i.e. the war against Terror.

  2. I don't know why when some one of big office from China comes to Pakistan then our Presidency and prime minister receive phone calls from their US counter parts.

Our laws and decision makers(Civil and military) in Islamabad are under immense pressure from the US to launch operation in North Wiziristan agency on any cost, but i think such operation have always proved counterproductive in the sense, they are intended for.
Secondly we have already seen such type of operation and know what type of consequences we are having after executing them.
US should also rethink regarding their policies towards Pakistan that they encourage and facilitate "Taliban" to come to the talk table in Afghanistan but distracts Pakistani authorities to negotiate with taliban for becoming peaceful Pakistani citizens.
