GIFT of releasing CIA agent RYMEND DAVIS.

(TFL)
A low-paid CIA operator in the US decides if a group of people sitting together somewhere in FATA and Afghanistan is a group of terrorists. He then oscillates between the roles of a human being and an angel of death. The best evidence for him to decide that this could be a group of terrorists is the territory that he watches on his screen via the camera attached with the Predator he operates. For him, the basic definition is that a group of people is a group of terrorists if it is sitting anywhere in FATA, having beards, wearing turbans, speaking Pashto, and most likely, because of their regional affiliation, are Muslims. With these evidences “firmly” in place, he gulps his bitter coffee down, thinks of the fight that he had had with his girlfriend last night, he presses the red button attached the joy stick. Predator, thousands of miles away, fires a missile and kills 41 people in Dattakhel. The next day, a press note is issued by an unknown source saying that all those died were terrorists, including, minors of the age of 7 and 9!

This is what the US saluted Pakistan with against the release of Excellency Raymond Davis! And deadbodies is what Pakistan has been picking as a Major Non-NATO Ally of the US in this fake war on terror.

A noted fact is that from the date of Raymond’s arrest on January 27 to his release, the drone attacks remained halted for nearly a month. The timing is extremely meaningful and speaks volumes about the reality of the need-based cooperation between the two countries. The relationship never was deep enough that could be declared cordial and probably would not reach a level where both sides could pose their confidence in each other in future. Over 2,000 people have been killed in hundreds of drone attacks since 2004 and only someone as shameless as US Department of Defense’s spokesman could declare all of the killed as terrorists. The reality is that very few, who have been targeted, were terrorists in the eyes of the US Administration while a towering majority comprises of the innocent civilians who were killed in the vague pursuit of US war on terror.

In his rare depiction of anger, the Pakistani army chief, General Kayani condemned the killing but to what gain, one wonders. PM Gilani also spoke in the same vein but would this condemnation bring back the dead ones? What would happen to the families of the deceased? Who would take care of them? Dozens of widows and tens of orphans?

Is this the reward that the US plans to keep paying back to the Pakistani nation?

The beleaguered Pakistani nation wonders about the quality and honor of its political and military leadership that keeps suffering such blows of dishonor. This is not what the Pakistani nation had expected off them. The nation does not expect them to declare war on the US but at the same time requires and demands and honorable existence in this strange diplomatic relations with an irresponsible hyper power.

The nation does not want 41 deadbodies as a gift of releasing one CIA agent!

Suggest Title: 41 Dead for 1 Alive!
