Misconception of US officials regarding their presence in Afghanistan

As we know that the situation in Afghanistan is quite pathetic and horrible.Seventy per cent are of Afganistan is in the control of Taliban despite the presence of more than 130000 US -led Nato Troops. Two based (Kandahar & Ba gram)were attacked by Taliban and many Troops of coalition forces and civilions were killed and several sustained injured in may 2010.Again in 18 may 2010, a suicide bomber rammed an explosive laden van in to a lightly armed convoy of coalition vehicle, killing 18 people including five American and Canadian.  ISAF troops have probably failed to contole the Afghan situation. The toops are also under terrible amount of stress and loosing their faith due to there long stay in Afghanistan.
It is also painful to know that since 1979 over one million of Afghans have been killed and more than five million had become refuges. Major bulk of the refuges entered into Pakistan. Two millions of Afgan have been displaced with in the country as a result of ceaseless fighting.
The capital of Afghanistan is presenting a horrible scene of tragedy   where more than 30000 have been suffered death and injuries because land mine, US bombing suicide attacks. The tragic part of this war against terror is that the country having 652000 km and with a population of 25838797 is at the mercy of western forces.
In short the struggle of the people of Afganistab for the withdrawal of foreign forces from their home land the US official are still in this misconception that they are saying that if the  people of Afganistan want the will not withdraw their army even in 2014.thefaultlines.com
